Discovery - Fun - Experiential

Engagement and interaction are core aspects of the workshop flow. No music knowledge is needed to gain an understanding of how  jazz principles and practices can promote creativity, strengthen leadership capacity, and elevate inclusive team synergy.

The workshop experience begins with a 10-12 minute online Pre-Workshop Assessment - details below which analyzes work-style preference and maps talent performance of the participants. A group matrix analysis maps the entire group's synergy, from structural and design roles to technical and conceptual.

Then we get to the good stuff ... the Jazz Principles and Practices. The facilitators move through each of the principles, drawing out the analogies, framing the concepts, leading the exercises. Participants will explore:

Talent Mapping Assessment

How Do You Like To Work?

Rooted in cutting-edge behavioral science, our job success indicator, powered by Hire Direction, is based on universal constructs people use to execute tasks, apply skills, and manage roles.

The 10-12 minutes online assessment connects an individual's operational approach to common job requirements to maximize job alignment, fit, and satisfaction. The talent mapping matrix, a sample of which is appears on this page, demonstrates how organizational and team roles align.

During the workshop, we relate the organizational roles with the musical roles in a jazz rhythm section!
